How DGENCY got here
From two in-house accounts to 140, one rule the whole way: count the booked jobs and tell Google about them.
- 2014
The first AdWords accounts
Hamid, fresh from an MBA in marketing, takes over a plumbing company and a dental practice account in-house and rebuilds both around booked jobs. Both are still running.
- 2016
DGENCY is born
Three clients, one laptop, and a rule that would never change: no account is optimized until the tracking can see a booked job.
- 2017
First home services roster
Ten HVAC, plumbing and roofing companies across Florida and Texas. The emergency and replacement split becomes the standard structure.
- 2018
Legal and healthcare
The first injury firm and the first multi-location dental group. HIPAA-safe tracking and 24-hour intake rules are written down.
- 2019
The fee goes flat
Percentage-of-spend pricing is dropped for a flat management fee, because it paid us to spend more, not to book more.
- 2020
Remote-first
The team moves fully remote and hires across the US. Every account gets an experienced strategist beside Hamid.
- 2021
The hundredth account
Booked-job imports become mandatory on every account. Cost per booked job replaces cost per lead in every report.
- 2023
The nightly engine goes live
Our search-term, negative and pacing engine runs across every account every night. The team stays at ten people while the roster grows.
- 2024
Fee to zero
The guarantee is written into every contract: miss the agreed target at the end of month three and the management fee is $0 until it is hit.
- 2026
140 accounts, 40 metros
Home services, legal and healthcare businesses in forty US metros, a $38M lead-gen spend history, and four new clients a quarter.
